About Klever
Klever is a smart-contract-enabled Layer-1 blockchain operating under a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism. The network is focused on a low-code approach. This allows users to create and deploy tokens and NFTs more easily while developers utilize the KleverChain SDK to create decentralized applications.
Background
Klever first evolved in 2017 as a single-chain wallet supporting assets on the Tron Blockchain. After experiencing massive growth in its user-base the wallet, expanded to support over 20 blockchains and 30,000 tokens, becoming a secure multi-chain asset storage utility. During this time, it released its eponymous KleverCoin (KLV) - a TRC20 token- to power all transactions and resolve network and transaction fees generated by those using its application.
Klever now boasts over 3.5 million platform users, a 4:1 earn-to-spend ratio, and greater than $11,000,000 in revenues. In addition to the various tokens and digital assets in the Klever ecosystem, Klever has announced plans for the release of a hedge-fund, bank, and even privacy-oriented smart phone. Staking and node validation are the primary means for the creation of new Klever Coin (KLV), and the maximum supply has been truncated to 10,000,000,000. A regular burn, derived by gross revenue numbers is conducted, in hopes to turn the asset deflationary.
Klever is in the midst of unveiling the mainnet for their own blockchain and migrating assets off the Tron blockchain. A testnet (v1.0) has already gone live with substantial demonstration of the technical and economical possibilities engendered by native support of their existing assets.
