Polybius

Polybius is a European bank that describes itself as a "normal bank" offering traditional financial services but aims to build itself into "a regulated bank for the digital generation." Polybius aims to make the process of opening a traditional banking account as "easy as getting an email account" and will launch a "Digital Pass" that acts as a decentralized repository for customer information, credit history, etc. The third goal for Polybius is to be more accommodating to crypto-focused ventures and startups, which are known for their traditional banking struggles. Instead of conducting a traditional funding round, Polybius raised funds via an Initial Coin Offering with their PLBT token, an ERC-20 compliant token built on Ethereum.
