حول Pundi X
Pundi X focuses on enabling cryptocurrency transactions in physical retail environments. Its primary product, the XPOS, is a point-of-sale device that allows merchants to accept payments in cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Pundi X’s native token, PUNDIX, alongside traditional fiat transactions. The XPOS supports cross-chain payments, connecting to blockchains such as Ethereum and NEM, and processes transactions in under 0.5 seconds. It also offers features like inventory management, loyalty programs, and the ability to buy or sell crypto directly.

Pundi X believes cryptocurrency adoption is stymied by a categorical complexity in exchange perceived by the average would-be user. Point-of-sale terminals coupled with a mobile application and smart card are Pundi X's solution to more rapid cryptocurrency adoption. This end-to-end system is also open source, something the team believes to be an important feature for any project building in the cryptocurrency space. Pundi X initially plans to distribute merchant hardware to a select demographic for free. Pundi X's bundle of products (e.g. point-of-sale devices, bank cards, etc.) plan to be gradually announced and sold to merchants and consumers.
Between July and August 2023, Pundi X released two protocol upgrades were completed for the XPOS system, allowing for payment orders using crypto units and the inclusion of optimized on-chain addresses for XPOS.
In November 2023, following the passing of Proposal 2, which approved a 4B PURSE Airdrop to PUNDIX Holders on Upbit, the exchange announced its support the PURSE airdrop.
In July 2024, Function X shared details about the token migration and rebranding associated with the merger of Function X’s f(x)Core and Pundi X Chain, in which the Pundi X Chain will be retired, and the merged chain will be called Pundi AIFX, combining the upgraded f(x)Core and Pundi X Chain.
In September 2024, Pundi X has announced a strategic partnership with Futureverse to develop an "AI DATA Omnichain Layer" leveraging Pundi AIFX.
By November 2024, the Pundi AIFX network has rebranded as Pundi AI to house all the AI products. The Pundi AI brand includes the Pundi AIFX chain, the Pundi AI Data Platform, and Purse+.
In December 2024, The Pundi AI team has announced that the FX token is live on Base. The token leverages Axelar's Interchain Token Service and allows for interoperability between all Axelar EVM-compatible chains.
By February 2025, the team announced an integration of the Pundi AI Data Platform with the Monad testnet.
In June 2025, Pundi X announced the launch of the.PUNDI onchain naming service in partnership with Unstoppable Domains. The.PUNDI domains allow blockchain wallet addresses to be replaced with human-readable identifiers for decentralized applications, wallets, and AI tools.
