The XSGD token is a stablecoin issued by the StraitsX project and pegged 1:1 to the Singapore Dollar. As an on-chain representation of the Singapore Dollar, XSGD enables its users to access decentralized applications on supported networks.

Contexte

XSGD is the collateralized Singapore Dollar stablecoin, powered by open-source blockchain protocols. All Xfers issued SGD-backed stablecoins have 1:1 parity with Singapore Dollar.

On the XSGD platform, your Digital Goods Wallet balance is denominated in SGD. Users may credit or debit this balance in the form of XSGD or SGD.

XSGD tokens are available on two distinct blockchain protocols:

XSGD (ERC-20) tokens run on the Ethereum blockchain as ERC-20 tokens and can be stored with any ERC-20 compatible wallet. XSGD (ZRC-2) tokens run on the Zilliqa blockchain as ZRC-2 tokens and can be stored with any ZRC-2 compatible wallet. Xfers verified users can seamlessly convert their XSGD (ERC-20) into XSGD (ZRC-2) tokens and vice versa by depositing tokens into their Xfers deposit address, then withdrawing their SGD balance on a different blockchain.
