PI Cycle Top Prediction

The Pi Cycle Top tracks two moving averages whose crossing has landed within days of the peak of each completed cycle, and projects where that crossing would next occur.
Why it matters
It converts a top from a judgement call into a dated condition: either the fast average has crossed the slow one or it has not.
How it is built
The 111-day moving average crossing above twice the 350-day moving average; the ratio of those windows is close to pi, which is where the name comes from.
What to watch
The signal has fired three times and been early or late by only a handful of days each time — but three occurrences are three, and the projection assumes the two averages keep their current slopes, which no market is obliged to do.
