Profitable Days
Bitcoin
Profitable Days states what share of all days in Bitcoin's history would have been profitable entry points for someone still holding today.
Why it matters
It answers the holder's question directly — how often has buying and waiting worked — instead of asking it indirectly through a valuation ratio.
How it is built
The count of historical days whose closing price is below today's, divided by the total number of days traded.
What to watch
The measure only falls when price drops below levels it has already visited, so a decline in it is a statement that the market has retraced years of progress. Its reading is backward-looking by construction and says nothing about the days ahead.
