Mean Realized Price USD 5y
Chainlink
The Mean Realized Price is the average on-chain cost basis of the supply, i.e. the realized capitalization divided by the number of coins.
Why it matters
It provides an aggregate break-even price for the market and a baseline for valuation oscillators.
How it is built
Realized cap is divided by circulating supply to yield a single realized price, then smoothed over a rolling window to reduce noise. This particular series is smoothed over a 5Y window.
What to watch
Price above the mean realized price means the average coin is in profit; sustained trading below it is historically rare and marks deep bear-market value.
